Flowers for Pressing

Playing with ideas.

Last year, I purchased a flower press and have been saving it for this moment when everything is just beginning to burst with color. I gathered a handful of yellow wildflowers and peony petals that had fallen after a storm, then carefully arranged them in the press. I have plans for using them that include a vintage 1962 Underwood manual typewriter, decorative papers, watercolors, and tiny stones. I can’t wait to see how they turn out!
